Many firsts tonight. First time braising fresh abalone, first time wrapping shrimp in tofu skin, first time making thai-styled steamed clams. Though it was not my first time to get an unanimous thumbs up, it is still good to know or taste my firsts are better than expected. Since I was lucky enough to work from home today, I had a little more time to try out new things. You won’t find too many recipes on my blog because I can never reciprocate the dish. I can make it again, it just won’t taste exactly the same, that’s all.
