Trying another flavor of the swiss roll – green tea. I’ve also added strawberries in the filling to balance the sweetness.  Ah Lo helped mixing the batter while I was working on something else. Big mistake. Timing and watching how things are formed are two crucial elements in baking. We almost didn’t have the cake because Ah Lo had too much fun with the electric mixer. This cake came out a little wet, but other than that, it was a good cake.


With leftover strawberries, we decided to make some chocolate dipped strawberries. We even played with different designs using white chocolate. Ah Lo’s dipping skills was better than mine! He practically did the whole batch himself.
