Tonight we’re having ramen! With pork bones soup base, I’ve added a few tablespoons of miso paste to the soup to add that mild, earthy flavor. For the char siu, I bought a pork belly and slow cooked with five spice powder with a bit of everything, cooking wine, soy sauce, sugar, salt and fish sauce. It was absolutely divine! Lastly, I threw in whatever was in the frige (I know chives are not my boys favorite), but oh well…
