Dai Bee got up early with me to help make this lunch. He helped cut out the letters from cheese. I gave him some suggestions on what to cut out, and he chose “nice day.” No wonder this lunch looks so much tastier than the ones I made.
In this box entitled Nice Day Lunch – ham and cheese sandwich, Ritz crackers and dried apricots…
“Today I am thankful for a smooth morning…”
How do you store all of your bento gear? Tupperware?
Right now they’re sitting on the counter, which takes up a big chunk of my counter space. I’ll probably rearrange them in the drawers this summer. I have a small clear containers (bought from Daiso) for the picks, and clear pastic bags for the dividers. I’ll see if i can take some pictures.
This is adorable, and it looks like something I think I could attempt which is heartening. What is the bear made out of though?
it’s cut out out from seaweed, but other choices can be from carrots, zucchini skin, etc.
So the face is made from seaweed, but what about the actuall head? It looks like cheese…
Also, thank you for the reply and for sharing your creativity and experiences. I love sites like this.
You’re very welcome.
The actual head is cut out from cheese, and the little piece of (ear) is cut out from seaweed. Nose is from cheddar cheese (cut out from those big round straw).
